Billing & Subscription in LatchLoop

Welcome to the LatchLoop Billing & Subscription Guide! Here, you’ll learn how subscriptions work in LatchLoop, how to upgrade or downgrade your plan, manage billing, and what to expect from each plan.


Overview

LatchLoop offers simple subscription plans to help you get the most out of our AI coding agent. You can view and manage your subscription at any time from the Billing & Subscription page in your account.


Available Plans

LatchLoop provides several subscription options:

  • Free Plan: Limited features, ideal for trying out LatchLoop.
  • Basic Plan: Includes 1 project, basic task management, 50 monthly credits, and GitHub integration.
  • Pro Plan (Most Popular): Unlimited projects, advanced task tracking, 100 monthly credits, all integrations (including Linear and ClickUp), and auto-build features.
  • Team Plan: Everything in Pro, plus team management, task assignees, centralized billing, and priority support.

You can choose between monthly and annual billing cycles. Annual plans offer a discount compared to paying monthly.


How to Subscribe or Change Plans

  1. Go to the Billing Page:
    Navigate to the Billing & Subscription section in your account.

  2. View Available Plans:
    All available plans are displayed, along with their features and pricing. Use the toggle to switch between monthly and annual billing.

  3. Select a Plan:
    Click the Subscribe button on your preferred plan. If you’re already on a paid plan, it will be marked as your Current Plan.

  4. Checkout with Stripe:
    You’ll be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page to complete your purchase. After payment, you’ll be brought back to LatchLoop and your subscription will be activated.

  5. Upgrade or Downgrade Anytime:
    You can change your plan at any time. When you switch plans, your new subscription will take effect immediately, and billing will be adjusted accordingly.


Managing Your Subscription

Viewing Your Current Subscription

  • The Current Subscription section shows your active plan, its status (Active, Trial, Canceled, etc.), and the next billing or cancellation date.
  • You can always see how many credits you have left for the month at the top of the Billing page.

Canceling Your Subscription

  • Click the Cancel Subscription button in the Current Subscription section.
  • You’ll be asked to confirm your cancellation. Once confirmed, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will be downgraded to the Free Plan.
  • You can continue using paid features until your current period ends.

Reactivating or Changing Plans

  • If you canceled but want to resubscribe, simply choose a new plan and complete checkout again.
  • You can also upgrade or downgrade between plans at any time.

Billing & Payments

  • All payments are securely processed through Stripe.
  • You’ll receive an email receipt for every payment.
  • You can view your next billing date and manage your payment method from the Stripe checkout portal when subscribing.

Credits

  • Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance, which resets at the start of each billing period.
  • Credits are used for AI-powered features within LatchLoop.
  • If you run out of credits, you can upgrade your plan or wait until your credits reset.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What happens if my payment fails or is past due?
A: If your payment cannot be processed, your subscription status will be marked as “Past Due.” You’ll be notified and can update your payment method to restore access.

Q: Can I get a refund?
A: All payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to avoid future charges. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Q: How do I update my payment method?
A: When you subscribe or change plans, you’ll be able to update your payment details through Stripe’s secure portal.

Q: What happens when I cancel?
A: You’ll retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will be downgraded to the Free Plan.
