Readwise gives an agent highlights, notes, source titles, authors, and locations from a selected reading set. A useful synthesis workflow can group related passages around a question while preserving the citation and wording that made each passage relevant.
The agent should not turn a collection of highlights into claims the authors never made. It can identify agreement, tension, repeated concepts, and gaps, but it should keep interpretation separate from quoted or paraphrased source material. A highlight without enough surrounding context belongs in the review queue.
Readwise supplies reading evidence and citation details. Notion supplies the topic page, structure, owners, and connections to ongoing work. A combined workflow can draft a source-linked literature note and check for an existing page before publication. The reviewer decides what to merge, what to keep separate, and which conclusions need more reading.
