Postman gives an agent collections, requests, environments, variables, examples, and test results for a specific API flow. A useful debugging agent can replay the ordered requests, compare expected and observed responses, and reduce a long collection to the smallest sequence that still fails.
The agent should preserve method, URL shape, headers, body, status, response fields, and variable provenance while redacting credentials and personal data. It should distinguish an application defect from an expired token, wrong environment, stale fixture, request-order problem, or assertion that no longer matches the contract.
Postman proves the request-level behavior. Linear records scope, owner, priority, and acceptance checks. A combined workflow can find an existing issue or draft a new one with a safe reproduction and expected result. The collection remains the technical evidence; the issue should link to it rather than copying secrets or large response bodies.
Combine plugins
Outcome pages can describe combinations: one plugin for source context, another for project tracking, and another for delivery or notifications. Use Postman as one layer in a larger agent workflow when the outcome needs more than one connected app.
