PitchBook workflows

PitchBook gives an agent company, financing, investor, fund, transaction, and market context for a bounded research question. A useful company brief records the source fields, dates, currencies, and entity identity behind each conclusion rather than turning a profile into a polished but unverifiable narrative.

Set an as-of date and define the entities before comparison. Similar company names, subsidiaries, and renamed organizations can create bad matches. The agent should keep missing fields visible and avoid estimating private-company values or current ownership from stale events.

Add internal investment context from Google Drive

PitchBook supplies external market and company data. Google Drive may hold the team’s thesis, meeting notes, models, and committee materials. A combined workflow can show where internal assumptions agree with or differ from the external record. It must label every source so a forecast never appears to be reported company data.

Combine plugins

Build richer agents by pairing PitchBook with complementary context

Outcome pages can describe combinations: one plugin for source context, another for project tracking, and another for delivery or notifications. Use PitchBook as one layer in a larger agent workflow when the outcome needs more than one connected app.
