Datadog can give an agent monitor state, service metrics, traces, logs, deployments, and related events. Start with the incident window, affected service, environment, and user symptom. Ask the agent to build a timeline and identify the first confirmed divergence.
The result should distinguish evidence from hypotheses. A correlated deploy, latency increase, or downstream error is a lead, not proof by itself. Keep queries, trace IDs, log links, and timestamps next to conclusions.
Datadog supplies production evidence. Linear supplies engineering ownership and acceptance criteria. The combined workflow deduplicates existing issues, attaches the smallest useful evidence set, and creates remediation work only after the team separates immediate mitigation from longer-term prevention.
Combine plugins
Outcome pages can describe combinations: one plugin for source context, another for project tracking, and another for delivery or notifications. Use Datadog as one layer in a larger agent workflow when the outcome needs more than one connected app.
