Prepare for the relationship you have, not a generic account
Attio can give an agent the people, companies, attributes, notes, and interaction history around an account. A useful briefing agent selects the details that affect the next conversation: who is involved, what was promised, which questions remain open, and what changed since the last meaningful interaction.
Choose the account and meeting purpose. Ask the agent to cite the Attio record or interaction behind each claim and to preserve uncertainty around old titles, unclear ownership, or missing next steps. It should not turn a collection of notes into a fictional narrative about the customer’s priorities.
Relationship briefs work well before customer, partner, investor, or recruiting conversations. The same context can support a hygiene review that identifies stale opportunities, duplicate contacts, or records with no owner.
Add Gmail for the conversation that has not reached the CRM
Gmail contains the current wording, questions, and commitments in the thread. Attio contains the structured relationship record. A combined agent can compare them, draft the next response, and propose updates to the CRM without silently changing it.
Match on a verified email address and account. Keep personal or unrelated messages outside the requested thread and require approval before sending a reply or updating Attio.
