March 2026 Changelog
New Features
Automated Deployment Review Agents
- LatchLoop began rolling out automated deployment reviews: browser-based checks that can inspect successful preview deployments and report whether the deployed UI matches the task.
- Review runs capture task context, project review instructions, screenshots, browser evidence, and a summary that appears back in the task timeline.
Local Builds Now Open Pull Requests
- Local runs now create a GitHub pull request when the work is finished, matching the cloud build experience.
More Model Choices and Controls
- As always, we’re constantly updating our model catalog to give you more options. You choose which models appear in the toolbar selector, keeping the model menu focused on the options they actually use.
Mermaid Diagrams in Markdown
- Task descriptions, chat messages, and streaming responses can now render Mermaid diagrams.
- Diagrams adapt to the current theme and can be expanded into a full screen popout view.
Pinned Task Tray
- Added a persistent Task Tray so you can keep important tasks open as quick-access tabs across projects.
- You can add a task to the tray from either the task list or the task detail menu.
- Tray tabs can be clicked to jump back to a task, reordered with drag and drop, removed individually, or cleared all at once.
Improvements
Desktop App Packaging and Updates
- Improved the macOS desktop app icon, and update checking.
Project and Task Flow Reliability
- Improved GitHub repository linking and settings refresh behavior so onboarding, project creation, and user preference updates are more reliable.
- Projects now show their configured icons and colors in more places, and projects can be reordered so larger workspaces stay organized.
- To-do lists in the AI sidebar can be more easily edited or deleted directly when you need to correct the plan.
- Pasting rich text into PR feedback or follow-up fields now preserves formatting by converting it to Markdown, so lists, links, emphasis, tables, and code blocks are easier for the agent to understand.
- The PR review pane has been redesigned for a better code review and merge experience, directly inside LatchLoop.
