February 2026 Changelog

LatchLoop added image attachments, vision context, and smoother desktop Git updates.

February 2026 Changelog

New Features

Image Attachments for Tasks

  • You can now add images directly to a task description by using the upload button, dragging an image into the editor, or using the /image editor command.
  • Attached images appear as thumbnails, can be previewed full-size, and can be removed from the task when they are no longer needed.
  • LatchLoop can include image context from the task in any message, making it easier to turn screenshots, mockups, and UI references into working code.
  • Images added as attachments are included in agent context even if you do not place them inline in the description.

Improvements

Desktop Application Git UX

  • When an agent run finishes in the desktop app, LatchLoop now automatically pulls the latest changes for the task branch into your mapped local repository.
  • Auto-pull is careful about local work: if you have uncommitted changes, LatchLoop stops instead of overwriting anything.

Task Detail Layout

  • The task detail view now uses the full available width of the app while keeping the description content centered and readable.
  • The AI sidebar stays pinned to the right edge on wide screens, fully taking advantage of large displays.
